Our Story

about.

Our story

It all started with a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurant called 'Solomon's Market' on Benefit St, Providence. A family owned and operated small business grew over the years, while continuing to focus in delivering delicious Korean food, it moved to heart of downtown location and opened as 'Teriyaki & Korean House' on Westminster St. The new, bigger restaurant was loved by many local residents, students and tourists for six years. However, in 2017, it was time for another big update as we always strive to be better and improving. On January 5th, 2017, former 'Teriyaki & Korean House' re-opened with a new name called 'Mokban,' and it has re-born with revamped interior, new menu and new concept. The new space is now offering upgraded quality of food and service.
